Who's behind Visit Hwange?
An independent visitor guide, not a tour operator. We publish the official numbers, and we say so when nobody publishes any.
What this site is
Visit Hwange exists because most of what is written about this park is a decade out of date. We are not an operator, we sell nothing, and we would rather tell you a fee has changed than repeat a number that reads well.
How we work
Park fees come from the ZimParks tariff document itself, not from copied operator pages, and every fees page shows when we last checked it. That matters here more than in most places: the rates went up in February 2026 and the majority of websites still quote the old ones.
Where no official figure exists, we say so rather than inventing one. Zimbabwe publishes no price list for guided activities in Hwange, so we tell you to ask your camp instead of repeating numbers we cannot stand behind. Wildlife claims follow published research where it exists.

Visit Hwange belongs to a small set of independent guides to Africa's less-trodden parks, including Mana Pools and Gonarezhou elsewhere in Zimbabwe and South Luangwa across the border. Same method everywhere: official fees, every camp listed, nothing sold.
