Note the split most guides miss: sleeping inside Hwange halves your daily park fee. Three nights inside for two international visitors costs $72 in entry fees; the same three days visiting from outside costs $144.

Activities

Hide and platform sitting	Included or via camp	public hides such as Nyamandhlovu are free to use during the day

Unlike Tanzania or Kenya, Zimbabwe publishes no official price list for guided activities in Hwange. Anything you read online quoting exact activity prices is guesswork; ask your camp.

Good to know

Gates open 06:00 and close 18:00. You must be back in camp by 18:00; arriving late can mean a fine. There is no driving after dark inside the park.
Assume there is no fuel for sale anywhere in Hwange. Fill up in Victoria Falls, Bulawayo, Hwange town or Dete, and carry enough range for the whole circuit plus reserve.
Bring US dollars in cash. ZimParks publishes nothing about card payment at the gates, and shops inside the park are non-existent.
Park fees are paid at the entry gate or at the ZimParks office of the camp you enter through (Main Camp, Sinamatella or Robins).
