Hwange National Park entry fees
Prices below include VAT. Fees are set in US dollars; Zimbabwean residents may pay in local currency at the prevailing rate. Bring US dollars in small denominations.
If you only want the answer
An international visitor pays $12 per person per day if you sleep inside the park and $24 if you drive in for the day, plus $3 per day for a foreign-registered car when you stay inside. Prices include VAT and are the gazetted 2026 ZimParks rates. Bring US dollars in cash.

Sleeping inside Hwange halves your daily park fee. Three nights inside for two international visitors costs $72 in entry fees; the same three days visiting from outside costs $144.

Unlike Tanzania or Kenya, Zimbabwe publishes no official price list for guided activities in Hwange. Anything you read online quoting exact activity prices is guesswork; ask your camp.

Fees are the one thing park authorities change without telling anyone, and some of them publish nothing at all.
Ask us. We answer questions about the park itself, and we can usually tell you which camps work on one route and who to write to. If what you want is a trip someone else arranges, we will say so and hand you to an operator we know, and we earn a commission if that becomes a booking.
