High-end Inside the park Safari company

Seven stone and thatch chalets in the far north-west of Hwange, on an 80,000-hectare concession between Robins and Sinamatella, about a kilometre from the Bumbusi ruins and their rock engravings. Five chalets have twin beds and two have queen beds with bathtubs. Getting there takes a while: about four hours by road from Victoria Falls International, or a short flight to Robins and a two-hour game drive in. What the park charges on top

The rate above buys you a bed. Hwange National Park charges its own entry fee for every day you are inside. Here is what that adds up to.

Park entryThe rate for guests sleeping inside the park.
$12per person, per day
VehicleForeign-registered vehicle, at the staying-inside rate.
$3per vehicle, per day

Three nights means three days inside, so two adults sharing one vehicle pay $81 in park fees before anyone pays for a bed.

Sleeping inside the boundary is what keeps that low. $12 if you sleep inside the park, against $24 a day for anyone driving in from outside.
