Nine tents on the same Linkwasha concession as Wilderness's flagship camp, and the value way into it: the same traversing rights, the same guides and the same game as Linkwasha for around half the high-season rate. There is no private hide here, but the pumped pan in front of camp does the work on its own. Self-drivers heading deeper into the concession leave their vehicle here under Wilderness's shelter.

Davison's sits on the edge of the private concession, which makes it the handover point for guests driving themselves to the camps deeper in. Self-drivers heading for Little Makalolo leave their vehicle here under shelter and are collected from here by Wilderness. Budget about six hours from Victoria Falls while the A8 is under reconstruction: roughly three on tar that is currently potholes and diversions, then an hour and a half to two hours of sand road on from Main Camp, which is the pleasant part and comes last.

The rate above buys you a bed. Hwange National Park charges its own entry fee for every day you are inside. Here is what that adds up to.
