In country that went unused for nearly twenty years, and the only camp in Hwange where you can explore by mountain bike, using troughs the elephants have compacted through deep Kalahari sand. Bucket showers, cooking over flames, and a bed you can wheel outside.

What the park charges on top
The rate above buys you a bed. Hwange National Park charges its own entry fee for every day you are inside, and almost no booking site shows you that.

Sleeping inside the boundary is what keeps that low. $12 if you sleep inside the park, against $24 a day for anyone driving in from outside.

What the rate covers is not confirmed. We have not been able to check whether meals, drinks and activities are included here, so treat this figure as the bed alone until it is.
