Nine suites on a bluff above a permanent dam in the Robins sector, rebuilt from a derelict ZimParks outpost with reclaimed materials and reopened in 2019. The dam holds water year-round in a park with no rivers, so game, hippo and crocodile are visible from the infinity pool most of the year, and the operator reports regular, individually known lion prides. We asked Hideaways Africa for a source behind the claim that Robins holds Hwange's highest lion density; they could not provide one, so we no longer repeat it.

The rate above buys you a bed. Hwange National Park charges its own entry fee for every day you are inside. Here is what that adds up to.

Yes. Nantwich is about 1 hour 30 from Victoria Falls International and 2 hours from Victoria Falls town, with the final approach on gravel and park roads via Nantwich Gate. Hideaways advises high clearance, recommends 4x4 depending on the season, and asks self-drivers to check road conditions first.
Is Nantwich Lodge good for families?
For families with children aged seven and older, yes. All nine rooms sleep two, and four have interleading doors, so a family can share while keeping some privacy. There is a pool over the dam; check with Hideaways which walks children can join.
