Bomani Tented Lodge

Tented lodge · Private concession in the Ngamo Forest, south-eastern edge · Imvelo Safari Lodges

A drawing stands in because nobody has sent us a photograph of Bomani Tented Lodge yet. We only publish images we have permission for. Send us five and this page changes the same week.

High-end Outside the gate Locally owned

The most accessible of Imvelo's camps and the one that best shows their model: a private gate into the park, a sunken hide, and community visits that are part of the rate rather than an upsell. You can even arrive by their own railcar from Dete.

Why you'd pick it

  • Imvelo's own private gate, fifteen minutes from camp
  • Sunken hide at eye level with drinking elephants
  • Ngamo village and school visits, and a spa staffed by community-trained therapists

What's here

  • Swimming pool
  • Wi-Fi
  • Bar
  • Family rooms
  • Solar or 24h power
  • Spa or massage
  • Laundry

Arranged from the lodge:

  • Game drives
  • Boat trips
  • Night drives

Read from Bomani Tented Lodge's own website in July 2026. Anything not listed we could not confirm, which is not the same as it being absent.

What the park charges on top

The rate above buys you a bed. Hwange National Park charges its own entry fee for every day you are inside, and almost no booking site shows you that.

Park entryThe rate if you drive in from outside.
$24per person, per day
Vehicle$10 a day on a day visit, $3 if you are staying inside.
$10per vehicle, per day

Three nights means three days inside, so two adults sharing one vehicle pay $174 in park fees before anyone pays for a bed.

Rates

From $445 pppn. $670 May to October, all inclusive including night drives and the community and school visits.

What the rate covers is not confirmed. We have not been able to check whether meals, drinks and activities are included here, so treat this figure as the bed alone until it is.

Indicative 2026 rates from operators' own rate cards, gathered July 2026. Always confirm with the lodge. One thing to watch when comparing: some camps include ZimParks fees in their rate and some do not, which shifts the real gap by $12 to $36 per person per night.
